As we draw near to the long-awaited Apple’s iPhone 11 event, rumours are pouring in. This time about some features regarding iPhone 11. There won’t be any Apple Pencil support for iPhone 11, also gone is the backwards charging capability.
Both of the features were rumoured to arrive in the all-new (almost) iPhone 11. Apple Pencil support for iPhone 11 is not coming according to Macworld which means you won’t be able to take notes or draw on your iPhone.
The backwards charging capability which allowed iPhones to charge other wireless charging capable iPhones or the Airpod case is also axed and won’t be available in the new iPhone. It is due to Apple’s standards of high-quality charging, the exact reason behind the cancellation of Apple’s AirPower.

Apple is also dropping the number naming for iPhones. Only iPhone 11 will have the number 11 while the other two reported models will be released under the names of iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max. We’ll know the official word from Apple in a couple of hours.
