iPad Market Share Increases By 4% in Third Quarter

Strategy Analytics released the latest tablet industry report today which details all global manufacturers. According to the report, Apple’s iPad is strong and has grown 4% in Q3 of 2019.

According to the report, the tablet business is getting a hit globally except Apple, Amazon, and Lenovo, only they have shown increased sales.

Apple’s shipments rose by 4% but their revenue increased by 8% which means that Apple’s iPad Pro is also seeing high demand.

Apple released a cheaper 10.2 inch iPad with smart keyboard support $329 but the iPad Pro model was not updated in 2019. This seems quite impressive considering the Pro models have a year old design.

Apple shipped 10.1 million iPads in the third quarter of 2019 followed by Amazon which shipped 5.3 million units albeit these sales were fueled by Prime Day discounts. So far Apple is leading the tablet industry and things are looking pretty good for the Cupertino based company.
